Meet Richardson Optometrists, Dr. Arnold M. Stokol and Dr. Andreane Fagala
Drs. Stokol and Fagala are optometrists in Richardson who provide comprehensive eye care services to Richardson, North Dallas and to the surrounding communities.
As licensed optometrists, Drs. Stokol and Fagala provide exams, diagnoses, and treatments of disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, our doctors are trained to recognize a range of systemic health issues that may manifest in the eye such as diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy.
Drs. Stokol and Fagala strive to remain current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attend continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. We want to ensure that our patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.
Dr. Stokol originally graduated from Optometry School in South Africa in 1975.
In 1979, Dr. Stokol completed his doctorate at the University of Houston and holds a Texas Therapeutic Optometry license. In July 2000, Dr. Stokol completed all the theoretical and practical requirements to be certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Stokol is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Stokol is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, of which he is also a member of the Contact Lens Section. He is a past president of the North Texas Optometry Society.
In November 2010 at the Richardson Chamber of Commerce Business and Industrial luncheon, Dr. Stokol was honored by receiving the “Ethics in Business Award” from the city’s three Rotary Clubs.
Dr. Andréane Fagala is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University. She then pursed her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. Prior to graduating with honors, Dr. Fagala completed extensive clinical rotations with emphasis on pediatric behavioral optometry, glaucoma management, ocular disease and refractive surgery co-management.
Dr. Fagala enjoys community involvement, and is thrilled to be able serve the community of Richardson. She is a proud Rotarian and a past Lions Club President. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Dallas County Optometric Society.
Dr. Fagala was born in Montréal, Canada, and moved to Houston with her parents in 1992. She married a native Dallasite, Ryan, in 2009. They are happy to be living in the Dallas Metroplex with family and friends nearby. They love to spend their weekends playing with their young daughters, Audrey and Ava.
